Starting The Process

So, you want to know if there are products to grow hair.  Well, I am sorry to break the news to you but unfortunately, no!  There is no such thing as any product making your hair grow faster.  Natural Hair growth is all based on your daily habits.  If you choose the right products for your hair and genetic make-up, they will aide in healthy hair growth. With the world we live in today the natural hair care products on the market are endless.  Some of them may or may not work for you.  We will discuss them below. Remember you must always do your own research and go through trial and error.

Diet

I know that this is a subject that many of us absolutely hate to discuss but it is necessary.  Your diet plays a major role in how healthy and how long your hair will be.  You know the saying”you are what you eat”? Well this couldn’t be anymore true.  Eating foods such as pork (which has high levels of sodium) Mcdonalds and Burger King will only do more harm than good.  These foods offer no nutritional value at all to the body.  When you are more conscious of what you eat, then your entire body will reflect that.  This includes your skin and your hair.

Staying Active

Secondly, it is important that you stay active.  The number one most common way of staying active is working out .  Keeping yourself active will allow for the blood to pump throughout the body.  Exercise also strengthens other muscles within the body.  It helps the heart muscle to become more efficient and better able to pump blood.  Exercising sends nourishment to the blood which in turn will result in healthy hair.  Again, not necessarily faster growing hair but healthier growing hair.

Next, we have our good ole’ natural oils for hair and shea butter for hair.  They all come from mother nature.  There are endless amounts of butters and natural oils for hair that can be used to stimulate healthy hair growth.  Some which are whipped shea butter, cocoa butter, mango butter, olive oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil.  Essential oils are also a great option but you must know how to use them properly and safely.  The essential oils that can be used to stimulate natural hair growth are peppermint oil, lavender oil, rosemary oil, cedarwood, lemongrass and tea tree.  There are so many others that I have not mentioned but trust me, there are so many to choose from.

Taking Care Of Your Hair

I think this is a good point that most people ignore.  For natural hair growth you have to be willing to take the necessary steps and make sacrificies.  By doing this you will notice that overtime your hair will be in much better shape.  You can’t be lazy with your hair care routine.  Being consistent with washing, conditioning and deep conditioning will surely yield you amazing results.  Results will not happen overnight and things will take time.  Don’t get discouraged because you don’t have Rapunzel length hair within weeks.  I guarantee that if you put in the hard work, you will appreciate your results even more when they finally come.
